For skip-hire operators

Jobs sent to you. No lead fees, no monthly cost.

Skipwise takes the booking, takes the payment, and sends you the job. You accept the ones you want and get paid on agreed terms.

How it works

  1. 1

A customer books and pays through Skipwise.

  2. 2

The job appears in your portal with the address, size, waste type and your payout.

  3. 3

You accept or decline. Decline costs you nothing.

  4. 4

You deliver, collect, and the Waste Transfer Note is generated for you.

What the operator portal does

Job queue

Every offer with the payout on it. Accept or decline in one tap.

Daily route view

Today's deliveries and collections in running order.

Digital Waste Transfer Notes

One click at collection. No paper book in the cab.

Payouts and invoicing

What you're owed, what's been paid, and when.

What we need from you

All four, before we can send you work. No exceptions — the registration check is the whole basis of what we sell.

  • A current Environment Agency waste carrier registration, upper tier.
  • Public liability insurance.
  • Your own vehicles and skips.
  • A licensed tipping site.

You choose your areas

We don't draw a circle round your depot and call it your patch. You tell us the postcode districts you actually take, and those are the only ones we send you. The radius on the form is a starting point for that conversation — nothing more. Change your districts whenever you like.

Joining takes under 24 hours

  1. 1

    You send the form.

  2. 2

We check your registration against the Environment Agency public register.

  3. 3

We agree your rates and confirm exactly which postcode districts you'll take.

  4. 4

You get your portal login and go live on the coverage map.

Most applications are done the same working day.

Apply to join

Takes about five minutes. We come back within one working day.

Your company

Leave blank if you're a sole trader.

Who we speak to
Licensing

Upper tier registration, as it appears on the public register.

VAT registered?
Where you work

A rough guide only. We'll use it to propose a list of postcode districts, and you confirm exactly which ones you'll take before you go live.

Skip sizes offered

Pick the sizes you run, then give your trade rate and the tonnage included for each.

Surcharges

Leave blank anything you don't charge for. We'd rather know now than discover it on an invoice.

Tipping and insurance

The site's permit, not your carrier registration. Duty of care runs all the way to final disposal.

Council skip permits
Do you hold skip permits with the councils you cover?

Councils usually licence the operator placing the skip, not us. If you hold the permits we'll agree a road-placement supplement on your rates.

How long the councils you cover take to issue one. This sets the earliest date we can offer a customer for a road placement — we will not sell a date you cannot meet.
